Apple's Totally Overpriced Computers???
9:49 AM
The most discussed topic among nerds. Apple vs. PC. We all know that apple computers don't come with a cheap price tag, and that's fact. I recently bought parts for a computer build, and the computer comes out considerably lower priced than the lowest level mac pro, yet has almost the same performance. I'm writing this because the mac pro is the only mac that's even worth buying, so I might as well beat it. The irony of that statement being that I am writing this article on a macbook. Cool, right?

Mac Pro(Quad Core)
My Computer
One 2.8GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon "Nehalem" processorOne 2.5 GHz Q8300 Quad Core Processor
3GB (three 1GB) memory4GB Performance Ballistix Memory
1TB hard drive2x 250GB Hard drive
x18 Double Layer Superdrive
24x DVD/CD writer/reader
ATI Radeon 5770 HD graphics
Nvidia 9500GT graphics
$2499
~$529

As you can see, my computer is comparable to the mac pro, and with a few upgrades, can easily pass the mac pro. Let's say that we spend 179$ on a new Nvidia GTX 460 graphics card. The graphics is now matched. Now let's say we spend 100$ on a 2Tb hard drive to surpass the mac pro. And let's say we overclock our processor to 3GHz to match the mac pro. And then let's say we put in $100 on a blu-ray Drive. Bam! New computer that's as powerful as the mac pro.

Mac Pro(Quad Core)My Computer
One 2.8GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon "Nehalem" processor(OC'd) One 3.0 GHz Q8300 Quad Core Processor
3GB (three 1GB) memory4GB Performance Ballistix Memory
1TB hard drive2x 250GB Hard drive+
2TB Hard Drive
x18 Double Layer Superdrive24x DVD/CD writer/reader+
Blu Ray Reader/Writer
ATI Radeon 5770 HD graphicsNvidia GTX 460
$2499~$978

And there it is. A computer that can easily match a mac pro, for $1500 less. The only thing you're paying extra for is snow leopard. There are more pros than just that though. The mac pro doesn't come with a memory card reader/writer where my computer does. The motherboard I chose for my computer allows for 8 USB ports compared to the 5 of the mac pro. My computer comes with a sound card for 5.1 surround sound where the mac pro does not.

The mac pro does have a few advantages, but only a few. The mac pro has built in wireless internet, whereas mine doesn't, but that is a very cheap expense. The mac pro also has built in bluetooth, where mine doesn't, yet another cheap fix. The mac pro does have snow leopard where mine doesn't, but who says a quick hackintosh fix can't solve that. So all in all, the low level mac pros are a waste of money. The highest level mac pro is much more worth it, but the lower levels can easily be matched. It's not worth your money.

...And just for the heck of it let's blow this sucker out of the water. Let's MATCH the price of the mac pro, and see what we can get.

Here's the entire list of parts from TigerDirect I literally threw together in 5 minutes.

If you want to make $20-$50/hour and up to $3500/month of your time working at
home part-time then this is the most important message you’re ever going to read...

It may sound hard to believe, but it's true. There are thousands of companies out there who are willing to pay for your opinions regarding their products. This is an important part of product research, and they rely on people just like you for your honest opinion!

Imagine getting paid for doing things like:

- Trying out new menu items from popular restaurants
- Take short surveys about new cars that are coming out soon
- Give your opinion about new clothing and shoe designs
But here's a problem, it's very hard to find out best survey site and you probably can waste too much time,
but I just stumbled up website http://get-surveys-for-money.com where this guy Jack revealed his secret source where he registered and taking surveys in his free time and earning $265 within 12h and $1440 just within 2 weeks
